today would have been the 102nd birthday of my all-time favourite actress, Louise Brooks. When I first saw her in 1929's Pandora's Box (Die Büchse der Pandora) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0018737/ I fell in love with her (which is not that uncommon apparently, even when her fans discovered her in her sixties they became fascinated with her). A few years later I even went so far as to get a photo of her tattooed onto my chest. Here are some links that I have spent a good deal of time today, hunting down.

The first is a trailer...
The American Venus (1926)

The next few are clips from, some of her movies that you 'won't' be familair with...
Beggars of Life (1928)

It's The Old Army Game (1926)

Love 'Em and Leave 'Em (1926)

The Canary Murder Case (1929)

The next pais are tribute vids...

There's A Ring Around The Moon

And finally... A documantary, featuring interview footage with brooksie herself.

My apologies fpr, maybe, going overboard but, she is truly a stunning actress, and a truly remarkable person.

Of course... I might be a little :D biased...
