One of the few cases where DiC managed to keep the emotion in a scene. While this never seemed to
affect me as much as I know it did some others, can be no denying that it sticks out, and helps to separate
Sailor Moon from most other shows.

I just love being able to get to see behind that sturdy wall that Haruka hides herself behind. I'm not sure if anything could have hit home the magnitude of what is about to happen more than hearing Uranus' tear-soaked voice.
16. Destruction of Mistress Nine [JP]

We'd been watching the progressively schizophrenic Mistress Nine fighing a constant battle throughout this episode, one that she eventually loses. But if you're gonna go, this is definately the way to do it. Saturn's symbol bursting through the Death Buster's star as pictured above was very impressive.
15. Saturn Revealed [JP]

I hate to put two major Saturn-related events so close together, but this is how they lie, so there we go. How to explain the power in this scene? Finally, everyone present gets to see that Hotaru is, indeed, the reincarnation of Sailor Saturn. And what a powerful little thing she is at that. Saturn's theme music always helps to make whatever she's doing seem all the more surreal, as if just looking at daemons and pretty much obliterating them isn't enough. Quickly followed by the Outers immediate and unhesitating attack on Saturn, which she just stares at, completely unconcerned ... Wow. This is another episode that I urge fans to get for themselves, my words really don't do the scene justice.
14. Yet another bonding moment [JP]

Usagi and Rei -- I love those two. This scene was just so ... Perfect. Heart warming, cute and even funny, this is characterization at its best. And who couldn't love Yuuichiro's entrance a few seconds later?
13. Ami's apology [JP]

In her own way, Ami hides her feelings as deeply as Rei and Haruka do, and as with them, I love seeing this
side emerge. Ami's speech, while short, helped to perfectly impact the danger they were about to face.
12. The SuperS movie opening [JP]
The SuperS Movie
This movie has the distinct honour of being the only thing to date that has actually made me cry out "Kawaii!!" Sure, other stuff in this series has been cute, but this opening is downright precious.
11. Nurse Minako [JP]

Just take the whole episode and lump it into one huge moment. This is Minako
at her best, and almost continuous laughs from start to finish.
